My sister in law was killed in a auto accident
Easter morning around 11:00 am. Head on crash, her
and the driver of the other car both died.
It's been a very difficult two days. I will be taking
my wife and MIL to the funeral home tomorrow
to start that process.
She leaves behind a 10 yo daughter. Adopted
from Guatamala.

Just horrible is all I can think to say.
Prayer and well wishes accepted.

Please hold the fort down until I get back.
Thanks OLF'ers. I consider you folks the
best group I know....

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
